The Annual Meeting shapes our WI and we'll vote on the Resolution we want to put to NFWI. Afterward, a special WI quiz will get us racking our brains!

Day at the Races

James Brennan from York Racecourse will tell us about the history of horse racing in York. Wear your most flamboyant, customised hat for the Ladies' Day Hat Parade.

7th July

Copmanthorpe Tea Party & the Battle of Flamborough Head

We mark 250 years of US Independence by commemorating the Boston Tea Party with a Tea Tasting and learning about the decisive Battle of Flamborough Head.

4th August

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

Andy Wilson shares the true-life story of a woman born into proverty in the 1920s who unknowingly changed medical history.

1st September

Digital Legacy

Rebecca d'Orazi Flavoni will teach us about the importance of protecting our digital property and online persona so that we feel empowered to take control of our digital legacy.

6th October

The Heart of the Matter

Supporting the Bystanders can be Lifesavers resolution by learning CPR skills with St John Ambulance.

3rd November

Forensic Science - a less glamorous view

Val Newark will give us an insight into the reality behind forensic investigations.

1st December

Party at the Circus with Circus Stu

Roll up! Roll up! High energy plate spinning, circus skills for everyone to try and a show stopping routine to end 2026 on a high note!
